Job summary

Leoforce is seeking a Sr Mechanical Engineer / Project Manager for a hybrid role focused on HVAC systems design in commercial, institutional, and mission-critical facilities. Ideal candidates have 3-5+ years in the MEP field, are proficient in Revit and AutoCAD, and hold an EIT certification with a PE license a plus.

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is required. Responsibilities include contributing to mechanical design for new construction and renovations, energy modeling,

Qualifications

• EIT certification required; PE license is a plus (or actively pursuing licensure).
• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (or higher).
• 4-8+ years of experience in the MEP industry.
• Revit & AutoCAD software proficiency.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience coordinating across multiple disciplines.
• Contribute to the mechanical design process for new construction and renovation projects.
• Assist with conceptual designs, equipment selection, construction drawings, specifications, and energy modeling.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure code compliance, coordination, and constructability.
• Support construction administration tasks, including RFIs, submittal reviews, and site visits.
• Help track project quality, schedule, and budget requirements.
• Engage with clients to understand design needs and contribute to solution development.
• Continue building technical and project management skills while working closely with senior engineers.
