Job summary

Bass Cat & Yar-Craft Boats is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design, test, and optimize mechanical and electromechanical systems. You will develop and test specifications, oversee tooling and equipment, and contribute to full lifecycle product development from concept to production.

You will apply CAD/CAM tools, conduct analyses, and validate performance against safety and reliability standards. Collaboration with suppliers and teams ensures quality and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Strong CAD/CAM knowledge and drafting skills.
• Excellent prioritization and project development skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate mechanical and electromechanical systems by designing research programs and testing methods.
• Develop and test manufacturing and assembly methods and materials.
• Design and modify equipment for fabricating, building, assembling, and installing components.
• Assist with budgets, timelines, and specifications with clients and product development teams.
• Maintain and improve equipment safety, reliability, and performance.
