Job summary

CyberCoders is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for our Brunswick, GA facility. This full-time role focuses on design, development, testing, and continuous improvement of mechanical products and systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver cost-effective solutions from concept to production.

The ideal candidate will have a hands-on engineering mindset, strong CAD skills, and experience with manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of mechanical design and product development experience.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks/Creo/CATIA/AutoCAD).
• Strong GD&T, drawings, and tolerance analysis knowledge.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes (CNC, molding, assembly).
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies using 3D CAD.
• Create drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation.
• Support products from concept through production launches.
• Perform calculations, analyses, and tolerance studies.
• Develop prototypes and assist with validation and testing.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and quality teams to optimize designs.
• Engage with customers to understand requirements and propose solutions.
• Assist with root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Support supplier qualification and manufacturing readiness.
• Drive continuous improvement for performance, quality, and cost.
