Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 1–3+ years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks or similar CAD software.
• Familiarity with injection mold tooling and automation equipment preferred.
• Strong computer skills including spreadsheets and basic statistics.
• Ability to travel to customer facilities.

Responsibilities

• Select materials to meet mechanical and environmental requirements while balancing cost.
• Ensure designs implement advanced technologies while meeting manufacturing, cost, and timing goals.
• Work with customers, sales managers, project managers, and internal teams to identify requirements and meet design goals.
• Develop and maintain project timelines to ensure all key deliverables.
• Coordinate prototype and pilot runs to mature the design for manufacturing.
• Lead launches of new programs with global manufacturing facilities.
• Prepare turnover to manufacturing and write technical documents for communications.
