Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design and optimize process systems for off-gas, uranium handling, and waste processing in a fast-growing fusion-focused tech environment. The role emphasizes piping/tank design and hands-on CAD work with plant 3-D models.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in mechanical engineering, familiarity with ASME codes, and experience with AutoCAD Plant 3-D, SolidWorks, and AutoPipe. Hybrid/remote flexibility is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering is required.
• 5+ years of mechanical engineering experience; tank and piping design preferred.
• Knowledge of ASME B31.3 Process Piping Code and ASME Tank design is expected.
• Experience with AutoCAD Plant 3-D, SolidWorks, AutoPipe is required.
• NFPA 801 fire protection knowledge is a plus.

Salary: $90,000 - $150,000 per year

Experience

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
• 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering - specific experience in tank and piping design strongly preferred
• Knowledge of ASME B31.3 Process Piping Code and ASME Tank design
• Experience with AutoCAD Plant 3-D, SolidWorks, AutoPipe
• Experience with fire protection including NFPA 801 is a plus
