Panelmatic, Inc. seeks a detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer to create and review models and BOMs for power distribution equipment including Metal-Clad Switchgear, Metal-Enclosed Switchgear and Panelboards.

The role requires 1–3 years in sheet metal design, a BS in Mechanical Engineering, and skills in AutoCAD/SolidWorks with strong communication and multitasking abilities. On-site work in Youngstown, OH is expected with competitive benefits.

Formación

• 1–3 years of sheet metal design experience.
• BS in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Knowledge of mechanical design principles.
• Experience creating 3D renderings and elevations from drawings.
• Familiarity with ANSI, ASME, NEC and UL standards.
• AutoCAD and SolidWorks experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to multitask across multiple projects.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• U.S. work authorization without sponsorship.
• Growth mindset to take on challenges.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and sit/stand/walk for extended periods.

Responsabilidades

• Review electrical diagrams and requirements from electrical engineering.
• Convert electrical drawings into a mechanical package with elevations, section views and BOM.
• Provide mechanical components of drawings to electrical engineering.
• Release BOM for purchasing and fabrication.
• Incorporate new designs into production engineering systems.
• Support manufacturing with project questions.
• Collaborate with electrical engineering and project management.
• Communicate job status and issues to supervisor.
