Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
• Engineering work or internship experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with customers.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data handling.

Responsibilities

• Determines project scope, develops a preliminary plan of investigation, and determines project specifications by analyzing client input and data.
• Projects may include travel to conduct or witness tests at client sites and to promote services.
• Communicates with clients to discuss technical issues, costs, and timelines.
• Coordinates laboratory activities and scheduling of technicians.
• Prepares data sheets, reports, and follow-up procedures.
• Ensures compliance with UL requirements and industry standards.
• May serve as Project Handler of record and/or Reviewer of record.
• Participates in continuous improvement initiatives and industry events.
