Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Some relevant mechanical engineering experience (an internship or more).
• Experience with 3D CAD modeling and drawing creation.
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, materials, manufacturing processes, and GD&T.
• Experience supporting product development, testing, and design validation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and systems to meet performance, cost, schedule, and manufacturability requirements.
• Create and maintain engineering documentation, including 3D models, 2D drawings, bills of materials, specifications, test plans and reports.
• Perform engineering analyses such as tolerance stack-ups, structural or thermal evaluations, material selection, failure analysis.
• Support prototype builds, testing, troubleshooting, and root-cause investigations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and program leadership.
• Evaluate design changes and implement improvements to enhance reliability, producibility, and cost efficiency.
• Support transition from development to production, including manufacturing readiness and issue resolution.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable internal standards, customer requirements, and industry regulations.
• Participate in design reviews and present technical findings to internal stakeholders.
