Qualifications

• Experience in developing system descriptions and Technical Data Packages.
• Bachelor of Science (BS) in mechanical engineering or mechanical engineer technology.
• Ability to obtain Secret or Interim Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide mechanical engineering analysis and support for industrial operations and manufacturing.
• Review facility designs for compliance with energetic manufacturing requirements.
• Review drawings for compliance with energetic manufacturing to include controls, schematics, and structural drawings.
• Evaluate step-by-step processes to identify hazards.
• Design, develop, and test mechanical components, equipment, and machinery.
• Apply engineering principles to design engines, instruments, controls, robots, machines, etc.
• Conduct product testing and create models and prototypes.
• Involve some fabrication, installation, and repair of mechanical products.
• Provide leadership and guidance to a functional area and the organization.
• Serve in advisory role on complex projects and initiatives.
