Job summary

Yaskawa America, Inc is seeking a Mechanical Engineer in the Franklin, WI facility to drive the design and development of our Medium Voltage Drives products. You will design SolidWorks models, produce 2D drawings, and manage BOMs in SAP MRP while collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, and QA teams.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering and 5+ years of experience in mechanical design, with strong proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in mechanical design.
• Strong SolidWorks and AutoCAD proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Design/modify SolidWorks models of Yaskawa Medium Voltage Drives.
• Create 2D drawings from 3D models to company standards.
• Generate/modify Bills of Materials in SAP MRP.
• Troubleshoot assembly issues on the factory floor.
• Perform mechanical strength calculations or simulations as needed.
• Participate in Product Development System (PDS) review and QC processes.
