Cherokee Federal seeks a Mechanical Engineer to lead Sub-AMP development onsite at Hickam Air Force Base, Hawaii. The role requires a CAC and favorable Tier 1/NACI-SF85 background check, with responsibility for lifecycle management of HVAC, water, wastewater, and related infrastructure.

You will analyze data, forecast infrastructure, assess system conditions, identify risks, and translate priorities into project requirements and cost inputs. Strong collaboration with stakeholders is essential.

Qualifications

• Must pass CAC and DoD clearance.
• Prolonged desk work; able to pass pre-employment qualifications.
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.

Responsibilities

• Analyze BUILDER SMS and Utilities SMS data to develop mechanical Sub-AMPs.
• Prepare five-year and ten-year mechanical infrastructure forecasts and investment plans.
• Assess condition and capacity of water, wastewater, HVAC, plumbing, and related mechanical systems.
• Identify mechanical-utility risks, including single points of failure, and develop mitigation strategies.
• Translate AMP priorities into project requirements, statements of work, cost-estimate inputs, and DD Form 1391 inputs.
