A growing manufacturer in the Dubuque area is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join its engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys product design, manufacturing support, continuous improvement, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring innovative solutions from concept to production. Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and products.
• Create and maintain 3D CAD models, engineering drawings, and technical documentation.
• Support new product development and engineering change processes.
• Collaborate with production, quality, purchasing, and manufacturing teams to resolve engineering and production issues.
• Analyze designs and manufacturing processes to improve quality, efficiency, and cost.
• Develop and maintain bills of materials (BOMs) and engineering documentation.
• Assist with continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing and equipment-related issues.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Two or more years of mechanical engineering experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
