Job description

  • Lead process flow, fixture, and tooling design to improve efficiency and product quality
  • Design, program, and troubleshoot PLC and controls systems to support automation
  • Drive planning efforts, capital projects, and strategic manufacturing initiatives
  • Create, modify, and manage CAD models and technical documentation
  • Manage engineering change processes (ECNs/ECRs) and apply Design for Manufacturability (DFM) principles
  • Lead and support continuous improvement, Lean initiatives, and CI projects
  • Evaluate and implement new technologies, equipment, and manufacturing tools
  • Provide hands‑on engineering support to resolve complex production issues
  • Mentor junior engineers and peers, sharing technical expertise and best practices
  • Own deliverables, communicate progress clearly, and demonstrate ongoing professional growth
Qualifications:

Education & Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related technical field

Technical Skills

  • Strong manufacturing data analysis skills; able to interpret production trends, metrics, and variances to support process improvement
  • Advanced proficiency in PLC design, programming, and troubleshooting for automated manufacturing systems
  • Expert-level experience with CAD software, particularly SolidWorks, including complex 3D models, assemblies, and drawings
  • Proven ability to lead complex engineering projects from planning through execution with minimal oversight
  • Experience coordinating cross‑functional teams, managing timelines, and aligning projects with business objectives
  • Clear, confident communicator across all levels of an organization
  • Able to adapt messaging to technical and non‑technical audiences
  • Provides constructive feedback and facilitates productive collaboration
