**Role Key Objectives:**

• Manage your team to drive accountability, design quality, efficiency, and people development.
• Assign resources from your team to each project.
• Report relevant team metrics to management.
• Ensure quality of team deliverables.
• Provide guidance and support through organizational and cross-functional resources.

• BOM compliance
• Engineering budget compliance
• Process quality compliance
• Deliverables say/do ratio
• Top talent attrition rate


**Year One Deliverables:**

• Develop a team development roadmap based on competency assessments
• Achieve KPI for process quality above engineering targets

**Qualifications and Skills:**

• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Mechanical Engineering
• 15-20 years relevant engineering experience, preferably global/regional
• 5+ years of engineering team management with proven leadership
• Experience in automotive products, especially displays, infotainment, cockpit electronics, electrification
• Strong in design quality, verification methods, design tools
• Exposure to CAE and testing domains
• Proven supervisory and technical skills
• Problem solving, continuous improvement experience
• Exposure to global culture/customer is advantageous
• VAVE experience is advantageous
