Job summary

Pinnacle Technical Resources seeks a Dimensional Engineer for its hardware team, working remotely within the US for a 12-month contract. You will support development and production of mechanical designs, structures, mechanisms, and sensor integration solutions for AR/VR applications, using analytical modeling and rapid prototyping.

Qualifications:

• Experience developing 3D variation simulation analyses using one or more of the following software packages: Siemens VA (VisVSA), 3DCS, CETOL.
• 5+ years of industry/academic experience.
• In-depth knowledge of manufacturing techniques (machining, 3D printing, injection molding, etc.).
• Experience with GD&T (ASME Y14.5), tolerance analysis, and associated metrology.
• Experience working on design teams throughout the product lifecycle (concept to start of production).

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5+ years of dimensional engineering experience, specifically with the application of GD&T and development of 3D variation simulation analyses (VisVSA preferred).
• 3+ years working on high-volume products such as consumer tech, automotive, aerospace, consumer appliances, or medical devices.
I>Experience with 3D CAD modeling (NX preferred).Experience creating scripts or algorithms to support measurement data analysis and assembly simulation requirements.
• Knowledge of Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA), Gage R&R, and other statistical methods required to support Production Part Approval Process (PPAP).
• Experience using Minitab, Quantum XL, JMP, or other statistical software.

Pay Range: $80- $90
