  • Ensure design quality aligns with established technical standards.
  • Manage project timelines and coordinate design communication between the team and client.
  • Provide consultation regarding schedules, deadlines, building codes, surveys, and standards.
  • Produce complete engineering project specifications.
  • Submit timely billing for assigned projects.
  • Follow company work rules, policies, and procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to improve processes, efficiency, and cost effectiveness.
  • Assist with preparation of project-related materials as needed.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as assigned.

Location: Dallas, TX

Position Overview

This Mechanical Engineer V role applies advanced mechanical engineering expertise to develop final construction documents, support the owner through the full construction process, and serve as a mentor to less experienced mechanical engineers and CAD designers. This is a senior-level technical and leadership position focused on high-quality design delivery, client communication, and project continuity.

Required Qualifications

  • Knowledge of mechanical engineering standards and related trades
  • Demonstrated superior expertise within a specific sector
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or Revit
  • Excellent communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • EIT and/or PE
Travel Requirements

Compensation

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $100,000 – $145,000 (based on experience)
