Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, rising senior preferred.
• Valid driver’s license is required for site access and transportation to MARS facilities.
• Must be able to obtain NASA credential and pass pre-employment checks.
• Location: Wallops Island, VA; internship supported on-site.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designs and system reviews to verify alignment with codes and performance needs.
• Develop and review 3D models and drawings to verify designs for operating conditions.
• Support field inspections and data analysis to confirm conformance with requirements.
• Participate in budget, schedule, and performance planning for assigned tasks.
• Perform field walkdowns and assist in root cause analysis for non-conformances.
