Worley is seeking an Undergraduate Mechanical Engineer Intern to join our Reading, PA team. You will support multidisciplinary engineering teams on power generation and data center projects, assisting with design, analyses, and documentation under the guidance of senior engineers.

You will gain hands-on experience in mechanical design, participate in project meetings, and contribute to safe, reliable facilities while building cross-discipline collaboration and professional skills in a global

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited program.
  • Foundational coursework in thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, mechanics or design.
  • Exposure to CAD/engineering analysis software.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with design and evaluation of mechanical systems for power, data center, and utility projects.
  • Support calculations, equipment sizing, data collection, and technical analyses under guidance.
  • Prepare and review drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
  • Coordinate with multiple engineering disciplines to support integrated design solutions.
  • Participate in meetings, design reviews and document actions.
