Mantari Industries, Inc. invites engineering students to join our summer internship program in Los Angeles, CA, focusing on next-generation sensor hardware and platform systems for defense and weather applications.

You'll work with senior engineers on design, analysis, and test efforts, gaining ownership of meaningful projects in a startup-like environment. We seek juniors or seniors enrolled in Engineering or Physics programs, with coursework in statics, dynamics, and materials, and experience

Qualifications

• Junior or Senior academic standing.
• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Engineering, Physics, or related technical field.
• Completed coursework in Statics, Dynamics, Mechanics of Materials, Deformable Bodies.
• Experience using CAD, MATLAB and/or LabVIEW.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to thrive in a team.

Responsabilités

• Cradle to grave the design and development of sensor hardware and mounting for field-deployable platforms.
• Support test campaign planning and execution, including test fixture design and data analysis.
• Create CAD models, detailed drawings, and perform basic engineering analysis (FEA, thermal, etc.).
• Lead design reviews and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to meet hardware and integration requirements.
• Perform hands-on fabrication tasks or support prototyping and assembly operations when needed.
• Support field test operations, including hardware setup, deployment, and on-site troubleshooting.
