Marvin Composites is seeking a Tool and Die Intern at our Fargo, ND plant. This full-time summer internship offers hands-on experience with CNC machines and tooling processes, working alongside experienced professionals in the field.

Qualifications

• Understanding of CNC machines and their operations is beneficial.
• Familiarity with basic machining principles would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist in making pultrusion and extrusion tooling for production.
• Gain experience in programming and setups on various VMC machining centers.
• Learn practical skills for working with tool steel and other materials.
• Set up and hard mill die mold tool steel and oversee the finishing process.
• Use inspection and gauging equipment for part setups and inspections.

Skills

Experience with CAD/CAM software

Able to read and write machine code

Machine and program troubleshooting

Experience with reading blueprints

Experience in a manufacturing environment

Pursuing a technical degree in Precision Machining or related field
