Job summary

Affiliated Engineers, Inc. (AEI) in Tampa is seeking a Mechanical Engineer Intern for Summer 2027 to support energy-efficient building design and project delivery.

You will collaborate with seasoned engineers, gain hands-on experience on real-world projects, and develop technical and professional skills in a supportive environment.

The program emphasizes mentorship, growth opportunities, and exposure to healthcare, science, and technology projects.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering program from ABET accredited school.
• Completed 3 years of coursework or have a junior standing.
• Minimum GPA of 2.5.
• Leadership involvement in extracurricular activities/student organizations.

Responsibilities

• Assist design on energy-efficient building projects and contribute to project delivery in a team setting.
• Learn from seasoned engineers, gain hands-on experience, and develop technical and professional skills in a collaborative environment.
