Job summary

Nestlé USA is seeking an Expert ME (IS) for Utility Engineering to drive safety, reliability, and efficiency across Thermal, Refrigeration, Waste Water, and related utility systems in our Ohio factories.

Lead SME efforts for ammonia/refrigeration, boiler/thermal, compressed air, and waste water design while coaching IS staff and guiding factory projects toward cost-effective, compliant solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering.
• General engineering principles learned in engineering school.
• Ability to use digital tools effectively.
• Understanding of industry standards for drawing deliverables, field support, and details of utility systems (mechanical integrity, PSM/RMP audits).

Responsibilities

• Coach and develop expertise at the Factory IS Department level for continuous support and improvement of the Factory utility operation.
• Provide SME expertise to project teams with ammonia/refrigeration design, boiler/thermal design, compressed air systems, and/or waste water system design.
• Be accountable for the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the industrial services to meet the operation's demand.
• Produce, verify or manage IS engineering deliverables for projects of all sizes (SOWs, RFP/RFQ, IS packages, equipment specs).
• Create department technical guidelines, standards, and specifications for utility systems.
