Job summary

Konik is partnering with a well-respected manufacturing and engineering firm to place a Mechanical Engineer in Osseo, MN on a direct hire basis. The role focuses on designing, developing, and manufacturing industrial systems and components while collaborating across production, R&D, and project management teams.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and 3+ years of mechanical design experience, with strong CAD skills and knowledge of manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in mechanical design engineering.
• Proficiency with CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or equivalent).
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, manufacturing processes, and materials.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine mechanical designs for production components and assemblies, ensuring compliance with design specifications and manufacturing capabilities.
• Create detailed CAD models, drawings, and documentation to support manufacturing and quality assurance.
• Collaborate with production and project teams to troubleshoot design issues, resolve technical challenges, and implement improvements.
• Assist in prototyping, testing, and validation of components to ensure reliability, performance, and manufacturability.
• Support cost analysis, process optimization, and design standardization initiatives.
• Maintain accurate engineering documentation and change management records.
