Job summary

Konik is seeking a Mechanical Engineer in Osseo, MN for a direct hire opportunity to design, develop, and manufacture industrial systems and components.

You will refine CAD models and drawings, collaborate with production and R&D teams, prototype and test, and drive design improvements to meet quality and cost targets.

Qualified candidates have a bachelor’s in mechanical engineering and 3+ years in mechanical design, with proficiency in SolidWorks or AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3+ years of experience in mechanical design engineering in industrial/manufacturing environments.
• Proficiency with CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and understanding of manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine mechanical designs for production components and assemblies.
• Create detailed CAD models, drawings, and documentation for manufacturing and QA.
• Collaborate with production and project teams to troubleshoot design issues and implement improvements.
• Assist in prototyping, testing, and validation of components for reliability and manufacturability.
• Support cost analysis, process optimization, and design standardization initiatives.
• Maintain accurate engineering documentation and change management records.
