Smith Seckman Reid, Inc. is seeking an engineer with an ABET-accredited degree and FE/EIT licensure to work on active facility and infrastructure projects. You will apply SSR standards, perform design analyses, and support production in Revit/CAD while coordinating with multiple disciplines.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree required with two years of related experience.
• Passed FE exam and licensed EIT in state licensure board.
• Proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD; knowledge of Trace700 and SKM preferred.
• Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong technical writing and effective communication; detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Apply SSR standards and procedures on active projects.
• Perform engineering calculations and system design tasks.
• Support design production in Revit and CAD; coordinate with designers.
• Coordinate with disciplines for equipment needs and specs.
• Attend meetings with owners, clients, and architects; relay requirements.
• Develop manhour budgets and track progress and risks.
• Produce technical docs, proposals, and presentations.
• Join senior staff on field visits to verify conditions against specs.
