Job summary

EwingCole, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Engineer in Training 1 to support project teams in design development and documentation, while building foundational knowledge toward P.E. licensure. The role emphasizes clear documentation, site exposure, and teamwork across building systems.

The candidate will gain experience with Revit and other tools, participate in submittals and reviews, and contribute to code research and calculations under close supervision. This is a hybrid position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering required.
• FE examination completed or eligible preferred.
• Proficient in Revit.
• Fundamental skills in Carrier HAP or similar.

Responsibilities

• Documentation: develops clear drawings and documentation for ductwork and piping.
• Software: uses necessary software to complete tasks.
• Building technology: builds knowledge of technical terms and concepts.
• Project delivery: supports project documentation delivery.
• Quality standards: learns production and delivery standards.
• Sustainability: approaches projects with sustainable concepts.
• Construction administration: participates in submittal reviews and site visits.
