In this role, you will have broad responsibility and ownership of New Product Introduction (NPI) projects from proposal through qualification testing and production support. Mechanical Engineer III

Your Roles/Responsibilities

• Perform detailed mechanical design of EM actuation systems including:
• Gearing and bearing design and analysis
• Structural analysis
• Analysis and specification of ancillary EM components (clutches, brakes, position sensors, etc.)
• Tolerance stack-up of precision assemblies
• Support proposal efforts in a fast-paced aerospace environment
• Creation and ownership of CAD models
• Conduct finite element analysis (FEA) (structural and thermal)
• Create detailed component and assembly drawings
  

Your Profile/Qualifications/Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university, required
• Master’s Degree in Engineering, preferred
• At least ten years of engineering experience, required
• Familiarity with common aerospace materials and process specification and application
• Professional, customer centric attitude and communication
