Job summary

Spectra Logic Corporation is seeking a Mechanical Engineer - Thermal to design, analyze, test, and manufacture mechanical systems with a focus on airflow and thermal performance. You’ll work with cross-functional teams from concept to production, leading root-cause investigations and sustaining engineering initiatives.

The role requires hands-on development, data-driven decisions, and collaboration across systems, electrical, firmware, and manufacturing teams. Hybrid work flexibility is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• 2-5 years of mechanical engineering or product development experience.
• Experience with 3D CAD modeling, preferably SolidWorks.
• MUST HAVE Experience with CFD and thermal analysis tools such as SOLIDWORKS Flow or ANSYS.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and improve airflow and thermal performance in products.
• Perform CFD simulations and thermal analysis.
• Design test fixtures, tools, and validation methods.
• Develop and refine test procedures for product validation and manufacturing.
• Support transition of designs into manufacturing and ensure production readiness.
