Job summary

Provisur Technologies Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Engineer II to manage projects from client needs through design, testing, and installation. You will research, design, develop, and test complex equipment while supporting medium-scale subsystem projects.

You’ll collaborate with engineering, service, and sourcing teams to optimize performance and utilization, with a hybrid work policy and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent years of experience.
• 3–7 years of machine design experience.
• Solid working knowledge of manufacturing practices, assembly procedures, and machine and mechanical mechanism design.
• Proficiency in design using AutoCAD, Inventor, or another 3D software.
• Ability to make sound technical decisions, prioritize projects, and complete critical items in a timely fashion.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end ownership: take projects from the analysis of the client’s needs through project specification, concept, design, test and installation.
• Ownership with mentorship: medium sub-system design projects with guidance from the Engineering Manager.
• Documentation: develop BOMs, ECNs, and REAs to support engineering in development or modification of products.
• Budget and schedule ownership: develop and monitor the project budget and schedule using design skills and project management.
• Travel as required to evaluate projects, install and troubleshoot modifications (up to 10%).
• Team leadership: manage medium design projects with support of Mechanical Engineers I and II, and shop personnel.
