Job summary

Provisur Technology, a leader in food processing equipment, seeks a Mechanical Engineer II to drive projects from client needs to installation. You will design, test, and optimize complex machinery while collaborating with engineering, service, and sourcing teams.

You will own budgets and schedules, document critical processes, and mentor junior engineers. A hybrid work policy and opportunities for growth align with our collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent years of experience.
• 3–7 years of machine design experience.
• Solid working knowledge of manufacturing practices, assembly procedures, and machine design.
• Proficiency in design using AutoCAD, Inventor, or another 3D software.
• Ability to make sound technical decisions, prioritize projects, and complete critical items in a timely fashion.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end ownership: manage projects from client needs through specification, concept, design, test and installation.
• Mentorship: work on medium sub-system design projects with guidance from Engineering Manager.
• Documentation: develop BOMs, ECNs, and REAs to support product development or modification.
• Budget and schedule ownership: monitor project budget and schedule with design and PM skills.
• Travel up to 10%: visit sites to evaluate projects, install modifications, and assist other departments.
• Team leadership: oversee medium design projects with support from Engineers I and II, and shop personnel.
