Job summary

Pro2Serve in Knoxville, TN is seeking a Mechanical Engineer II for a direct hire position. You will contribute to the design and development of facility piping, HVAC and mechanical systems on critical infrastructure projects.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, an active EIT, 3–6 years of progressive design experience (piping layouts, plumbing and utilities). A PE is a plus; familiarity with ASME/ASHRAE/SMACNA codes and AutoCAD or Microstation is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Active EIT license is required; PE license is a plus.
• 3–6 years of progressive design experience with facility piping and HVAC.
• Familiar with ASME, ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA, IBC/IPC codes.

Responsibilities

• Design detailed piping layouts for mechanical systems and utilities.
• Develop facility and utilities layouts including plumbing and HVAC.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and vendors.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes and project standards.
