Qualifications
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; Bachelor's with 1+ year design experience.
- Experience using CAD to design parts and assemblies.
- Experience with prototyping techniques in a lab.
- Ability to write, execute and analyze test plans to inform decisions.
- Strong fundamentals in heat transfer, fluid dynamics and mechanics.
Responsibilities
- Lead hands-on prototyping and verification testing of subsystem designs.
- Drive instrumentation, data collection and data analysis for system-level validation builds.
- Own design of components and assemblies for volume manufacturing.
- Run and analyze trials to inform specs and future design direction.
- Execute ambitious product development processes on tight timelines.
