You will prototype, analyze data, and guide parts for high-volume manufacturing, collaborating with heat transfer, fluid dynamics, and mechanical teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with 1+ years mechanical design experience, or Master's with related experience.
  • Experience using CAD to design parts and assemblies.
  • Experience writing, executing, and analyzing test plans to make data-driven decisions.
  • Experience with prototyping techniques and lab work.
  • Strong fundamentals in heat transfer, fluid dynamics, and mechanics.

Responsibilities

  • Lead hands-on prototyping and verification testing of subsystem designs.
  • Drive instrumentation, data collection and analysis for system-level validation builds.
  • Own design of components and assemblies for volume manufacturing.
  • Run trials to inform specs and future design direction.
  • Execute ambitious product development processes on tight timelines.
