Job summary

Affiliated Engineers, Inc. (AEI) in Tucson seeks a Mechanical Engineer II to design HVAC systems for complex facilities, using independent judgment from concept through basis of design and documentation.

Requirements include a BSAE or BSME, 3+ years of HVAC design experience, PE or eligibility, and proficiency with Revit MEP, AutoCAD, and Navisworks. AEI offers a flexible, collaborative environment and robust benefits.

Qualifications

• BSAE or BSME required.
• 3+ years’ experience designing HVAC building systems in technically sophisticated facilities.
• PE License or ability to become licensed.
• Expertise in computer operation for engineering design programs (i.e. Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Navisworks) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and document system designs from concept plans and technical design criteria.
• Interpret and utilize basis of design information and information gathered from users, project partners, field surveys, and code research.
