Job summary

Affiliated Engineers, Inc. (AEI) in Chicago is seeking a Mechanical Engineer II to design energy-efficient HVAC systems for technically sophisticated facilities.

You will develop and document system designs from concept plans and criteria, using basis of design information and input from project partners and field surveys. The ideal candidate has a BSAE/BSME, 3+ years of HVAC experience, and a PE license or the ability to become licensed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in AE/ME (BSAE/BSME) required.
• 3+ years’ experience designing HVAC building systems in complex facilities.
• PE License or ability to become licensed.
• Proficiency in Revit MEP, AutoCAD, and Navisworks preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and document system designs from concept plans and technical design criteria, using basis of design and information from users, partners, surveys and code research.
