RTM Engineering Consultants seeks a Mechanical Engineer II to design mechanical systems, create construction drawings, and provide ongoing support through construction. The role coordinates between the design team and client while ensuring schedule and quality requirements are met.

Qualifications

• Requires a 4-year engineering degree.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in mechanical engineering.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit.
• Familiarity with building codes and design standards.
• EIT certification or active eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Manage project timelines and coordinate between design team and client.
• Produce mechanical systems design elements per project specs.
• Prepare HVAC construction documents for permitting.
• Perform load calculations within project parameters.
• Coordinate with internal and external sources.
• Support QA/QC processes and project closeout.
