RTM Engineering Consultants is seeking a Mechanical Designer with a strong focus on HVAC systems to join our engineering team. You will develop construction drawings, perform load calculations, and ensure designs align with project requirements.

Collaboration with design teams and clients is essential throughout the construction process. Candidates should have 3+ years of experience, knowledge of building codes, and proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit.

Formación

• Minimum 3 years' experience in mechanical design or related field.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and fire protection systems.
• Expert knowledge of building codes and standards.
• Understanding of construction processes and interpretation of drawings.
• Familiarity with engineering drafting standards and design documentation.
• EIT or related certification is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Manage project timelines and coordinate design activity between the design team and client.
• Produce mechanical system designs that meet project specifications and hours/scope.
• Create HVAC construction documents for permitting that are accurate and complete.
• Perform load calculations and select appropriate equipment for each project.
• Coordinate with in-house and external sources to ensure design integrity.
• Support QA/QC processes and post-design activities through construction.
