Job summary

Lennox is seeking a Mechanical Engineer II to design, fabricate, modify, and evaluate complex mechanical and electro-mechanical components, sub-systems, and systems. This role may coordinate drafters, technical writers, engineering technicians, and machine shop personnel as needed.

Responsibilities include writing test procedures, evaluating data, and recommending design approaches to meet production requirements for new or improved products. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is expected.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering
  • At least 1 year related experience
  • Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology
  • Experience with analytical and CAD software
  • Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Job description

This Mechanical Engineer II designs, fabricates, modifies and evaluates complex mechanical and electro-mechanical components, sub-systems and systems. Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To
  • Write test procedures, compile and evaluate design and test data and prepare technical specifications.
  • Recommend design approaches to meet production requirements for new or improved products or processes.
  • Coordinate with technical support personnel to conduct prototypes or experimental runs for products or processes.
What We Are Looking For
  • Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering.
  • At least 1 year related experience.
  • Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology.
  • Experience with analytical and CAD software.
  • Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.

What We Offer

Compensation: This is a salaried exempt role. The starting salary range for this role and market is between $79,000 - $103,500 annually. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company’s applicable plan. Employees in this role are not eligible for overtime.
