Job summary

Lennox in Carrollton, TX is seeking a skilled engineer assistant to support mechanical engineers in planning and testing, prototype assembly, and design verification. In this role you will help set up tests, fabricate components, and record results.

This salaried, non-exempt role offers a starting range of $52,000 to $68,250 annually, with eligibility for the BroadBase Incentive program (2%). In-house benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401(k), disability coverage, leave, and PTO.

Qualifications

  • Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Requires at least 2 years related experience.
  • Strong oral and written communications skills.
  • Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.

  • Devise, fabricate, and assemble new or modified mechanical components or assemblies.

Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To

What We Offer

Compensation : This is a salaried non-exempt role. This means that employees are paid a salary and also receive overtime pay when they work more than 40 hours in a week (or as otherwise required by state law). The starting salary range for this role and market is between $52,000 - $68,250 annually. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for the BroadBase Incentive (BBI) program with a target payout of 2%. Location and Schedule: This position is located in Carrollton, TX and will be in the office Monday through Friday.

Paid Time Off: Depending on date of hire, and subject to applicable eligibility requirements, new employees in this role also receive up to: 12 days paid time off, 2 paid well-being days, 1 paid volunteer day, 9 to 11 paid company holidays depending on the year, and 3 floating holidays per year.
