Job summary

Lennox International in Georgia is seeking a Mechanical Engineer II to design, fabricate, modify and evaluate complex mechanical and electro-mechanical components, sub-systems and systems at our Heatcraft facility in Tifton. The role may coordinate drafters, writers, tech staff as needed.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree in engineering, has at least 1 year of related experience, knowledge of engineering principles, CAD software, and strong communication skills.

Heatcraft Worldwide Refrigeration is a long-standing leader in the world of commercial refrigeration, providing climate-control solutions to customers in more than 70 countries. Their state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in the cities of Stone Mountain and Tifton, Georgia, produce evaporators, condensers, compressor racks, and other top-quality refrigeration products for their five market-leading brands: Bohn, Larkin, Climate Control, Chandler, and InterLink. Heatcraft products are primarily used to preserve food and other perishables in supermarkets, convenience stores, restaurants, warehouses and distribution centers, in addition to other applications such as data centers, pharmaceutical and industrial process cooling.

This Mechanical Engineer II designs, fabricates, modifies and evaluates complex mechanical and electro-mechanical components, sub-systems and systems. The person in this position may also coordinate the efforts of drafters, technical writers, engineering technicians and machine shop personnel as needed.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Write test procedures, compile and evaluate design and test data and prepare technical specifications.

What We Offer

Compensation:This is a salaried exempt role. The starting salary range for this role and market is between $79,000 - $103,500annually. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company’s applicable plan. Employees in this role are not eligible for overtime.
