Position SummaryThe Mechanical Engineer working on fuel cell mechanical components is a vital team member to support activities related to Plug Power’s Hydrogen Fuel Cell Systems. The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for the specification, analysis, selection, testing, and integration of mechanical and electromechanical components used in fuel cell systems. These components include pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, humidifiers, valves, filters, and others. This position will work on new and existing products, and interface directly with the systems engineering, sourcing, manufacturing, reliability, controls, electrical, and product teams. The successful candidate must be a skilled collaborator who can engage cross-functionally with various team members to align efforts and synergize work activities. This position is critical to the continued optimization and performance of Plug Power’s Fuel Cell Systems.
Core Duties and ResponsibilitiesPay Rate:
