Qualifications

• ABET-accredited BS in Mechanical/Mechatronics or related field.
• 1+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with CAD in SolidWorks or CATIA.

Responsibilities

• Gathers and documents the problem statement and associated engineering requirements.
• Conceptualizes solutions to challenging problems.
• Uses 3D CAD software such as CATIA or SolidWorks to generate parts and assemblies.
• Validates mechanical designs through simulation and proof of concepts (POC).
• Develops documentation such as manufacturing drawings and bills of materials (BOM).
• Collaborates with electrical and mechatronics engineers on complex designs that require electrical systems and programming integration.
• Effectively communicates status and results to team members, management, and customers.
• Contributes to a collaborative team environment.
