The role supports design computations, equipment selection, and construction documentation under a Project Lead, contributing to on-time, compliant facility deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited four-year college or university.
• Completion of the Engineering-in-Training (Fundamentals of Engineering) exam is encouraged.
• General knowledge of system design.

Responsibilities

• Assist design of mechanical (HVAC) systems including air distribution and central plants.
• Use engineering software to perform energy calculations and estimates.
• Prepare design documents and drawings for project teams.
• Support project lead with reports, specs, plans, and construction support.
• Create or modify drawings in Revit or AutoCAD per project standards.
• Research design options and document findings for the project lead.
• Communicate workload changes and scope adjustments to the project lead.
