Resolut is seeking an entry to mid-level controls engineer to support MEP design teams by designing mechanical control systems and developing project documentation such as sequences of operation and diagrams. You will maintain company standards, contribute to library documents, and collaborate with engineers.

A Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering and 1–5 years in MEP with CAD/BIM tools (Revit) are preferred; strong communication and problem-solving skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar field (ABET/EAC-accredited) is required or equivalent experience.
• 1–5 years of experience in the MEP industry.
• Familiarity with CAD and BIM tools, including Revit, is required.

Responsabilités

• Design of mechanical control systems for a variety of applications.
• Develop project documentation: specifications and sequences of operation.
• Create and maintain controls diagrams and engineering drawings.
• Develop and maintain company standards of practice for controls.

Summary

This is a entry to mid-level position responsible for providing controls support to MEP design teams as well as generating and maintaining libraries of controls documents.

The primary focus is to provide controls related engineering support for MEP design teams in the development of building automation and control system designs.

Responsibilities:

• Design of mechanical control systems in a variety of applications.
• Development of project and system documentation per industry standards including, but not limited to Specifications and Sequences of Operation.
• Development of controls specific engineering drawings & diagrams.
• Development and maintenance of company standards of practice related to controls.
• Development and maintenance of company standard controls document libraries.
• Incorporation of industry standards into internal controls design.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or similar field) from an EAC/ABET-accredited university required or equivalent experience, required.
• Experience: 1-5years in the MEP industry.
• Familiarity in CAD and BIM tools, including Revit, required.
• Proven ability to design and develop mechanical control systems, required.
• Proven ability to interpret and generate controls specific technical documentation, required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
