Job summary

Resolut Group is seeking an entry- to mid-level controls engineer to provide controls support for MEP design teams in developing building automation and control system designs. The role focuses on designing mechanical control systems, creating and maintaining project documentation, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities include developing control drawings, maintaining company controls libraries, and integrating industry standards into internal designs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from ABET-accredited university or equivalent.
• 1-5 years experience in the MEP industry.
• Familiarity with CAD and BIM tools, including Revit.
• Proven ability to design and develop mechanical control systems.
• Proven ability to interpret and generate controls documentation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design of mechanical control systems in a variety of applications.
• Development of project and system documentation per industry standards including Specifications and Sequences of Operation.
• Development of controls specific engineering drawings & diagrams.
• Development and maintenance of company standards of practice related to controls.
• Development and maintenance of company standard controls document libraries.
• Incorporation of industry standards into internal controls design.

Summary

This is a entry to mid-level position responsible for providing controls support to MEP design teams as well as generating and maintaining libraries of controls documents.

The primary focus is to provide controls related engineering support for MEP design teams in the development of building automation and control system designs.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
