Job summary

Cenergistic is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support HVAC and building automation projects, with 2–3 years of professional experience. The role offers relocation assistance to Tulsa or Oklahoma City and mentorship from licensed PEs, along with a clear path toward PE licensure.

You'll work on large-scale facilities, analyze system performance, and help improve energy efficiency while ensuring comfort and reliability for clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• 2–3 years of professional engineering experience in HVAC/building systems.
• Working knowledge of HVAC systems, thermodynamics, and building systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support development and implementation of energy conservation standards and engineering best practices.
• Analyze HVAC system performance and identify opportunities for optimization.
• Assist with BAS programming reviews and control strategies.
• Review sequences of operation and recommend performance improvements.
• Support commissioning, retro-commissioning, and measurement & verification activities.
• Collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders.
