Job summary

Schemmer Associates Inc. in Oklahoma City, OK, is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer P.E. to design HVAC, piping and temperature control systems for industrial, educational, healthcare and commercial projects.

You will work as a Project Engineer within the architecture division, coordinating with utilities, structures and equipment while contributing to planning and cost estimates. Ideal candidates hold a P.E.

Qualifications

• P.E. licensure is required.
• Minimum 5 years of HVAC, mechanical piping and plumbing design experience.
• BS in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering.
• Experience with AutoCAD and REVIT.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A MECHANICAL ENGINEER P.E.

As a member of the architecture division, you’ll work independently as Project Engineer on industrial, educational, health care and commercial facilities projects. Your main responsibilities involve HVAC, fire protection, piping, plumbing and temperature controls projects. You will also participate in planning, cost development scheduling and coordination with utilities, communication systems, structures, machines, equipment and processes. Qualifications

• P.E. certification
• 5+ years HVAC, Mechanical Piping, and Plumbing Design experience required
