Job summary

SSOE, Inc. is hiring a Mechanical Engineer to design state-of-the-art industrial and high‑tech manufacturing facilities. The role involves collaborating with Designers, Engineers, and Sr.

Project Managers to develop innovative, compliant mechanical designs that meet project requirements. Ideal candidates have a ABET‑accredited mechanical degree, Pro Engineer/PE is a plus, and hands-on experience with AutoCAD and Revit.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• PE license preferred and may qualify for higher salary band.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Revit required; Navisworks or PIPE-FLO a plus.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed engineering designs, technical plans, drawings and models.
• Design and analyze mechanical systems including HVAC, piping, boilers, pumps, and related components.
• Perform load analyses, pump head curves, pressure drops, and energy use evaluations.
• Ensure QA by following CAD standards and project procedures.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to meet project milestones and client needs.
• Support field verifications and site walks, and assist in resolving in-field design issues.
