Job summary

SSOE seeks a Mechanical Engineer to design state-of-the-art industrial and high-tech facilities in the Phoenix area. You will work with a team of engineers, designers, and Sr. Project Managers to deliver detailed drawings, calculations, and robust solutions that meet project requirements.

This onsite role requires daily presence in N. Phoenix, with no remote or hybrid arrangements. Qualifications include ABET-accredited Mechanical Engineering, AutoCAD experience, and knowledge of HVAC and

Qualifications

• Clear communication of technical information and design concepts.
• Ability to work with project managers, contractors, and cross-disciplinary teams.
• Experience with HVAC, chillers, boilers, pump hydraulics, and mechanical building systems.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed engineering designs, specifications, drawings, and models.
• Create and finalize designs involving piping, HVAC, and related building systems.
• Perform load, pump head, and energy calculations to optimize performance.
• Coordinate with other disciplines and stakeholders to meet project milestones.
• Conduct field verifications and site walks to verify and incorporate solutions.
