Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with 4+ years of experience.
• Graduate degree and 2+ years of related experience acceptable.
• In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 8 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Design high‑performance pneumatic mechanisms for aerospace platforms.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations to solve design challenges.
• Model parts with Creo and create 2D drawings for production.
• Support structural and thermal analysis with hand calculations and basic FEA.
• Present data in PDR/CDR and contribute to reviews and production readiness.
• Hands‑on support during development, integration and test activities.
• This role is on‑site in Amityville, NY with up to 10% travel.
